Chris & Natalie Kiefer came to us when they were planning for their kitchen remodel. They initially had been told that quartz was “better” than granite, but through our conversations with them we helped them understand that there are different benefits to each. After making several trips to Elemar in Redmond, OR they landed on their final decision of going with Astoria granite slabs.
An interesting part of this project was that the slabs of granite they selected displayed a very directional veining. During the fabrication process our team took extra time to make sure that the various pieces were placed together in a consistent manner to create a seamless look to their countertops. The final result was one that they were very happy with and our design team was very proud of.
